Paris hosts some of the most famous events in the world, and each one reshapes how the city moves. The Paris Air Show fills the northern suburbs, Roland-Garros draws crowds to the west, and Fashion Week scatters guests across central Paris several times a year. Eurosatory then brings defense delegations to the exhibition halls near Charles de Gaulle Airport.

If you are planning a trip around one of these events, the dates and the venue matter as much as the ticket. Here is what each event is, when it takes place, and how to get there without losing time in traffic.

1. Paris Air Show: June 14–20, 2027

The International Paris Air Show is the world's largest aerospace event, and it returns to Le Bourget from June 14 to 20, 2027. First held in 1909, it moved to Le Bourget in 1953 and now takes place every odd-numbered year.

The 2025 edition drew 305,200 visitors, 2,400 exhibitors from 48 countries, 155 aircraft on display and 173 flight demonstrations. The first four days, June 14–17, are reserved for trade visitors. The show opens to the public from June 18 to 20.

Who attends: aerospace executives, government delegations, investors and aviation enthusiasts.

Getting there: Le Bourget lies about 15 km from central Paris on the A1 motorway, typically 30–40 minutes by car and longer at peak times. Trade days bring tight meeting schedules, while public days bring the largest crowds. Business travelers often split their time between chalets at the show and dinners in central Paris, so an hourly chauffeur on standby saves repeated waits for a ride.

For delegations, a Mercedes V-Class keeps a team and its luggage together. A Mercedes S-Class or Maybach suits executive hosting between meetings. See our Paris Air Show chauffeur guide for access details, or book a Le Bourget Airport chauffeur if you arrive by private jet.

2. Roland-Garros (French Open): May 17–June 6, 2027

Roland-Garros is the clay-court Grand Slam of tennis, and the 2027 tournament runs from May 17 to June 6. Qualifying takes place May 17–21, and the main draw begins on Sunday, May 23. The women's singles final is on Saturday, June 5, and the men's singles final is on Sunday, June 6.

The tournament dates back to 1891 and is played at Stade Roland-Garros, on the western edge of Paris beside the Bois de Boulogne. Day sessions on the main show courts start at 11:00. The night session is a single match on Court Philippe-Chatrier, starting no earlier than 20:15. Philippe-Chatrier and Suzanne-Lenglen both have retractable roofs, so play there can continue in the rain.

Who attends: tennis fans, corporate hospitality guests and international visitors, many of whom combine the tournament with a Paris vacation.

Getting there: the stadium sits near Porte d'Auteuil. Plan your arrival around session times, because crowds leave together when play ends. Night-session guests finish late, so a pre-booked return is far easier than searching for a ride outside the gates.

Groups and families heading to the courts are well served by a Mercedes V-Class. Couples or corporate guests may prefer a Mercedes E-Class or S-Class. Our Roland-Garros chauffeur guide has more on planning your days at the tournament.

3. Paris Fashion Week and Haute Couture Week: Six Dates in 2027

Paris has no single Fashion Week. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode runs six separate weeks each year: two for menswear, two for womenswear and two for haute couture.

Season2027 dates
Menswear Fall/Winter 2027–2028January 19–24
Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2027January 25–28
Womenswear Fall/Winter 2027–2028March 1–9
Menswear Spring/Summer 2028June 22–27
Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2027–2028July 5–8
Womenswear Spring/Summer 2028September 27–October 5

Who attends: buyers, editors, stylists, celebrities, models and brand teams. Most shows are by invitation only.

Getting there: unlike the other events on this list, Fashion Week has no single venue. Shows take place across the city, often back to back, and guests may attend several in one day. A hired car with a chauffeur waiting nearby turns a difficult schedule into a manageable one.

A chauffeur also solves the practical problems: garment bags stay in the car, and you step out at the door, ready for the cameras. For high-profile guests, a Mercedes S-Class or Maybach offers privacy between shows, while a Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes V-Class suits a stylist's team with looks and equipment. 4. Eurosatory: June 19–23, 2028

Eurosatory is the world's leading land and air-land defense and security exhibition, and its next edition runs from June 19 to 23, 2028. Founded in 1967, it takes place every even-numbered year, so it alternates with the Paris Air Show. The 2026 edition hosted more than 2,600 exhibitors.

The venue is the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center, close to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Eurosatory is open to accredited professionals only, not the general public.

Who attends: defense manufacturers, armed forces and security personnel, government officials and official delegations.

Getting there: Villepinte is 15–20 minutes by car from CDG and about 33 km from central Paris, a drive of 40–60 minutes depending on traffic. Many visitors stay in central Paris, so the daily commute along the A1 and A104 becomes the main travel question. A chauffeur lets you take calls and prepare for meetings on the way. Hotel rates near the show also climb during exhibition week, so a central Paris base with a daily transfer is worth considering.

Delegations can travel together in a Mercedes V-Class or Cadillac Escalade. Senior executives may prefer the quiet of a Mercedes S-Class. Our Eurosatory chauffeur guide and corporate chauffeur service cover delegation travel in more detail.

How to Plan Around the Most Famous Events in Paris

The most important planning step is matching your travel to the event, because each one puts pressure on a different part of the city.

EventNext datesAreaWho can attendBest service
Paris Fashion WeekSix weeks, from January 19, 2027Central ParisMostly by invitationHourly or full-day hire

Four habits make event travel easier:

  • Watch the early-summer overlap. In 2027, Roland-Garros ends June 6, the Air Show runs June 14–20, menswear follows June 22–27, and couture runs July 5–8. Paris stays busy for more than a month.
  • Book once your dates are firm. Vehicles fill quickly during major events, especially larger vans for delegations.
  • Decide between a transfer and hourly hire. A private driver by the hour suits multi-stop days, while a fixed transfer suits a single trip to the venue.
  • Arrange your airport pickup too. A CDG chauffeur transfer starts the trip smoothly, and Le Bourget serves private jet arrivals.
